And it's quite boring at the moment. It's seems like it could develop into something cool with public showings for trailers and meeting people online and playing little games like bowling and such but for now its just a bunch of similar looking people in similar clothes running around doing nothing.

The graphics are pretty spectacular though. Looks very similar to Uncharted.

they should make home replace the main menu when you turn the ps3 on, i feel stupid logging on to home, to see if they changed it at all, then having to log out to actually play a game

Are they seriously gonna have like 4 lanes for bowling for the entire PSHome? And the character models/haircuts/clothes suck. Not liking this so far considering how long they've been teasing it.

Be careful. There's lots of talk about banning and reporting people in the Playstation forums. If you get banned, you get booted from the whole PSN.

There's really nothing to do in this thing that's actually fun. Why play some shitty bowling game when there's zombies to kill? I made the creepiest character I could and just walked around being an ass, but even that wears off quickly. The only thing that could save this is if we could riot.

i signed on, miles away my friend signs on, we agree to meet at the door of the bowling alley. we both go there, but we are in 2 different bowling alleys. we were able to 'locate friend' and meet in the same alley, but thats stupid. basically theres no chance of me just running into people on my buddy list, we'd all have to locate and join new areas

In theory its supposed to be like Second Life with the added benefit of being able to beef up your friends list and jump right into a game with people you meet.

it's OK at best. i created JAP, HK, and UK accounts on my PS3 so i got selected to do the Hong Kong NAMCO Museum beta. it's playable with my US acct and i have everything unlocked in it. i got a bunch of NAMCO clothes and 4 cabinet games as well as a table game that has the beta on it. i put them in my clubhouse but unless you're in the HK NAMCO beta you can't play any of the stuff.


basically it is kind of boring but it's one hell of a time killer

yup. i created a female character and dressed her up in all the namco gear i got in the NAMCO museum hong kong beta. i get idiots sending me messages all the time. holy fuck are people stupid!!!! i had some asshat named latinkid7 following me @ for roughly a half an hour trying to hit on me. i finally MICed up and he took off. later i checked my messages and he had sent me a bunch of messages saying "hey baby, where r u from?"
