I just got a PS2 and am wondering what games should I get...

I have right now...
Grand Theft Auto 3
Tokyo Racer Zero dealie

What would you guys suggest. My sis wants Frequency, I want the wrestling games... anyother thoughts on the subject?

I got Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2, Madden 2002, Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec and WWF Smackdown! Just Bring It.

They are all good,Gran Turismo and Madden are my favorites.

I'm going to get GTA3 also. Check out SSX Tricky, it's a really fun snowboarding game and Metal Gear Solid 2 is great as well.

WWFallon is right, Gran turismo 3 and smackdown 3 are worth it. Also, batman vengence is good also if you like the animated show.

METAL GEAR SOLID2!
That would be my first and foremost pick.
GT3 is great game. though I wasnt a fan of racing games until I picked GT for ps1. I would get it. Its a game.
Red Faction is a fun but it takes a little while to get a handle on the controls
Baldur's Gate is not a bad hack and slash rpg game.
I look forward to getting Half Life as well.
Devil may cry is a game worth getting.
Onimusha Warlords is a great short game that you can pick up used for like 20 bucks. That was the first game I played on the PS2 and it took my breath away at that moment.
But I would say rent as many games as possible before buying them. This way you can weed out the lemons. Though I did get my copy of MGS2 before it hit the shelves. I would say that is the reason why you buy the PS2.

Modify your ps2 and copy most of your games like I do ;).

Good games imo are GTA3, MGS2(seems a bit short though), Devil May Cry, Onimusha , Twisted Metal: Black, Jak and Dexter, Tony Hawk 3, oh and Capcom vs. SNK 2(if you like 2d fighters).

Devil May Cry is great.

FFX is good too....as is Twisted Metal: Black.

And Metal Gear Solid is one of the best games I've EVER played. Utterly fantastic.

Oh yeah I forgot GET ICO. The game is amazingly good. It's right up there with MGS2 and DMC as best adventure game. And State of Emergency comes out pretty soon which will be very interesting.

Get the new Smackdown, Madden 2002, and NHL Hitz. Of course I don't own a PS2 myself, but I play it alot.

Tony hawk 3 is really cool i like skae boarding games and its got some good music in it

FFX is a must get you just have to even if you dont like it you have to buy it
