Maybe Rock-tor Steve could answer?
But honestly it has been this long for a month or so.
What gives. Does any one else experience this?

Mine is the same way, in that my mustache grows to the point where I look like I'm 14 and one sideburn does not come in.

Genetics, your follicles are only programed to put out a certain amount of hair. It will still be growing, just at a very slow rate.

What's with the boogers in the beard?
Soon you will notice your body going through some changes...

it depends on the active phase of growth of your hair. It varies from person to person.
For some it grows for months and others years. Facial hair grows for even shorter periods than the hair on your head, sometimes just a few weeks.

isn't there something where you trim a quarter inch and then it grows longer when it grows back? No?

Those aren't boogers. He is trying to get the hair to grow more by fertilizing it, if you know what I mean.

Hair does not get longer with cutting. What does it is the stimulation of the follicle (and blood supply) through brushing, running trimmers through, etc. Hence why you brush your hair for a few minutes each evening for stronger hair.

Is that why pubic hair is so coarse and thick ? It gets stimulated sometimes a couple of times per day .

boosterp: i really didn't know that about the genetics thing. its actually very interesting.
Gaz: Yeah its doesnt grow longer. it stops at its set point. and i guess mine is that. I would like it to get longer but oh well.
Katja: I am unsure about it because i have shaved it two times and whenver i shave it it will grow right back then stop where it is now. its quite odd.
torker: might be sand. thus giving the reflective blurry thing.
i work at a sand plant. in the lab

not odd, but a sign that what I said is true, your growth face is shorter than some other people's, yet may be longer than someone else may experience.
the active growth face does not change with every time you shave

Ask Stugots. His back hair is a miracle of nature.
I thought he was wearing a sweater.
