Bring Back "Beavis and Butthead"!

I know that Mike Judge was ripped off by MTV and is hitting the jackpot with "King Of The Hill", but can't MTV show the old episodes again? This had to be one of the funniest shows on television.

Beavis and Butt-head was one of the most misunderstood satires in recent years and was a funny show with the episodes and the MST-esque talking about videos.

For those who grew up in the 90s Beavis and Butt-head was one of the most important shows.

And the movie is damned good too.

Mike Judge is brilliant. King of the Hill is a magnificent show and Office Space was one of the best movies of 1999 and has developed a small following.

I think Beavis and Butthead was the last good show MTV had. And IkeaBoy, you're right. The movie was hilarious! I think it's the last one I saw in a theater.

i thought beavis and butthead was good on liquid televsion but when they started watching the videos i thought mtv mainstreamed it way too much

I remember the first few Beavis and Buttheads on Liqiud television, they included "frog baseball" and the "tractor pull". There was a few other funny things on liquid television remember there was once a skit where two hand puppets beat the crap out of each other and lop each others heads off...hand puppets killing each other always funny!!

I know Beavis and Butthead helped me through some rough times (as dumb as that may sound). I would be able to relax watching them, sort of like therapy. The movie was also great. One of my top 5 favorite movies of all time.

Huge props to that one Bron...I loved that one as well. When they came back immeadiatly from that 1st season the first few from the 2n completly sucked. Then Judge got back onto track...those ones ruled

I always loved the episode where the boys were watching the "Shiny Happy People" video and Butthead said "Happiness sucks". I still laugh at that one.
Also, the sperm bank episode, with Stewart's Dad: "He's fallen, and he can't get it up" ;)

B&B was a great show. I was thrilled when, a couple weeks ago, I caught the movie being aired on MTV (of course, this was at like 12 a.m., but still). I'd love if they just started showing B&B reruns.

Somewhere along the way MTV decided to play anything BUT music. Which I probably wouldn't have a problem with, IF they had good shows as an alternative. But instead of great shows like B&B, we get the 6,000th version of Road Rules and/or Real World, and it's sooooo played.

Beavis and Butthead was a brilliant show mainly for the SUPPORTING characters: Mr. Anderson (the model for Hank Hill), Mr. Buzzcut (the Marine teacher), Mr. Van Driesen (the hippie teacher), and Todd (the punk whose gang B&B wanted to join). These were characatures of people I knew.
