Pocket, Pouch or Hand?

How do you carry your beloved cell phone?
Do you just toss it in your pocket with your loose change and bang into tables it it?
Do you go everywhere with it in your hand?
Do you holster it or keep it in a pouch?
Do you wear it in a clip?

I have always respected my electronics, and try to keep them as protected as possible, so I am always looking for the best protection I can get for my cell.
My new Blackberry cost me a lot of money and my old holster is too small so I am looking for a new one. I see some people selling those rubber grip sleeves, but I worry about the screen getting scratched and how can you holster it if it is in rubber? No way I would just toss in my pocket. The Otter box looks completely ridiculous.
Whats a man to do? What do you do??

If I have my bad I keep it in the designated cell phone pocket. When I'm bagless I gerenally keep it in a jacket pocket, usually the inside chest pocket.

I wrapped my beloved Blackberry in the product you suggested.(So far, so good) Then I use the little BB pouch that came with the unit.

I just wrapped my new one in the CP wrap just last night, but the holster that came with my Bold is magnetic and doesn't seem secure, so I am also looking for a better velcro closing pouch. My first Curve died shortly after I got a magnetic closure case and I was devastated. No one seems to think it is important to keep computers away from magnets anymore, but I will never use a magnetic closure again.

For my blackberry pearl I have the rubbery covering, and I put it in the pouch that came with it. That keeps it pretty protected so I keep it in my pocket.

It goes in left pocket of my shirt. That's where my pack of cigarettes used to be and I think its a comfort thing. Until I quit smoking the fucking thing stayed in my truck where it didn't bother me.

I wear cargos most of the time, so the phone goes into the left thigh pocket by itself. I used to keep it in my pocket with my keys, but I accidentally called 911 while waiting in line at the grocery store. Stupid non locking 9 and 1 buttons!

I carry my phone in my pocket, but it is not terribly fancy and I keep it in a protective cover.

I just lock the keyboard and put my blackberry in my pocket. I will not wear a belt clip.

I keep my BB in the slide pouch and usually in my purse, but sometimes just in my jacket pocket, but always in the pouch. I am getting a cover for it though from here; Gelaskins (http://www.gelaskins.com/index.php). I have a laptop cover from these guys and it is awesome. Protects it from scratches, and the phone and iPod protectors come with a film to protect the screen.

So super gay. That pouch thing is the worst. My bud carries around his Razor in one of those and everyone calls him sheath boy, and we tell random women at bars that he carries his phone in a sheath. Get rid of that thing.

Usually pocket, but I hate being dependent on the thing so I often put it away if I have a bag with me or leave it wherever. I used to rock the old pager clip, but I don't have one for my current phone, that assured me that my phone would never drop out, which has happened to me and a number of my friends (when drinking, but still a legit concern).

Im a suit/tie guy. So i have to reach in my capitalistic breast pocket, or when I am ham and eggin it, I put it in the shirt pocket. I refuse to holster it, because you cant sit down or get out of chair, or do anything without breaking that stupid holster.

I am a little surprised at the amount of people who prefer the pocket. I have no problem with the holster and feel it is safer for mine. I imagine that humidity from the pocket could effect the phone too, plus dust and potential knocks. But mine is a Blackberry and maybe Id feel different if I had a clam shell phone or whatever.
