Just use the VLC player. No conversion needed.

Not with that program. What are you trying to do? Convert it to a media player video and then burn it on a disc?

I have used "Any Video Converter" with a lot of success, although I have mainly used it for divx and avi formats. It is free and you can get it at cnet.com's download section.

Or, I could be nice and link it (http://www.download.com/Any-Video-Converter/3000-2194_4-10661456.html?tag=mncol&cdlPid=10902213). :bye:

I will admit that it is a pretty slow if you choose a higher quality setting, but it does the job and is free. Good luck!

Just open the file.

Then select audio and video as mentioned above.

are you wanting the to play on the PS3 or window video?

as mentioned above will play on the PS but more than likely not WMV.

then just go to save file with those selected.

type whatever you want for the file name followed by .avi

you should be good to go.

And yes i would recommend doing this while you wont be using the PC for a few hours.

Then when saving and encoding you will have the ability to select the priority of the program. You can select high if you dont plan on using the PC for a while. or lowish if you plan on using it for RF.net.

I dont own a PS3 but i know it will play divx, xvid, and some various other file types I believe.

Faildozer on? I can tell you have a connection on your PS3 so why dont you try to re D/L what ever you are trying to convert. If seeded enough it would be quicker than converting it.

and again i know nothing really about the working of the PS3.
