Fucking bastards. I signed up for Sirius XM online radio so that I could get the Boys, OandA and Howard. In that order of interest. I looked online and they claimed that with the online subscription you can get the Virus and the stupid Howard channels.

I got the online subscription cause I already have a Logitech Squeezebox Classic, Boom and Duet in my house. Three players capable of streaming Sirius XM radio. No need to go out and spend $100 on a stupid piece of hardware that plays only one media *the Squeezebox is way awesome if you arent aware*

And so I set it up and configure it and . . . . . NO VIRUS CHANNEL!!!!!

Those sons of bitches. They specifically say on their website that you can get the virus. Of course I sent them an email and got some sort of automated bullshit back giving no answer.

Anyone else have this problem, or do they just hate me? :furious:

I used to suscribe to XM before any of this merger stuff came about. I just signed up for the online radio yesterday and what pisses me off the most is that the Sirius website SAYS that the Virus is available. If I had known that I would have signed up for the XM side and continued my illegal downloading of Howard.

The channel is there; I listen to it online everyday.

What is it listed under? I cant find it anywhere! Also did you guys join under XM or Sirius?

Also just to clarify . . . . Im using the Sirius Media Player and the Virus is definitely not on there.

I listen online through Napster. For a while after they announced the merger the 202 disappeared from my favorites and from the channel listings on the Napster. But if you typed in 202 in the channel field it came up.

If you're going through Sirius online, you need to purchase "The Best of XM", which includes 202.

Yeah, that's the problem. If you subscribed to XM Online, and had not ordered The Best of Sirius to go with it, you wouldn't be able to hear Hoo Hoo either.

Try using Starplayr (http://starplayr.com/ourproducts.html) - it's my favorite online satellite streamer. Rumor is they're coming out with an iPhone/iTouch version soon.

anybody suggest a portable sirius player that would allow me to record R&F when i can't hear them live? the only thing they offer that i have found is a 1 hour device. that sucks balls.

There are screenshots of it on that link I provided earlier.

In the end I blame it all on my laziness. I should have just kept on downloading and loading my iPod. But no I had to get it all on a fucking portable music device. I suck.

If anyone listened to O & A today it's apparent the Sirius law department is as prohibitive as any terrestrial station.

The music channels are awful too.

Oh, what could have been...

I hear you...the play lists have gotten incredibly narrow.

I did. The bit was bombing anyway.
Deep tracks hasn't failed me.
But I listen in moderation maybe that's the key.

I subscribed from the XM side. I believe that if you subscribe through Sirius, you need to pay more for the "best of XM" package to get the virus programing.
