Day After Thanksgiving Shopping (aka black Friday)

I am at work (hotel), and these women were in the lobby with a 10' by 10' area of the floor covered in coupons and clippings and stuff.
Then, they ask for 4 am wake up calls.

People go for the limited items that will be sold out. Like the 100 buck Tom Toms and such. In the past, stores would have items that are only on sale until later that day. However, since sales have been down the last couple of years, they sometimes keep the super low prices going until the stuff is gone.

I thought about going to walmart in the morning to get a Magnavox blueray player for $128.00, but how often do I buy or "rent" DVD's anyway? Mr. Torrence let's me borrow them for nothing. Not High Def, but WTF cares anyway?

I just saw a commercial for Wal Mart where my Garmin Nuvi 200 that I paid $229 for last January is going to be on sale for $97.00. I guess they're getting rid of the old stock to push the Nuvi 205 now.
