I love everything zombie. I love Resident Evil. I wanted to love this game... Valve + zombie should be instant win.

I did NOT love this demo. It's on my gamefly list, but after playing the demo, am not as excited for it as I was. I don't like how you're running w/ 3 other people in single player mode, I don't like the giant lettered "GRAB THIS" every time you see something you can pick up, I don't like the controls...

Call of Duty: World at War has an awesome zombie killing mode. If they made that into a standalone game (with more maps) it would be a definite purchase.

This has to be one of the most overpriced games in a while.

$50 for an online only (bots dont count) shooter that is a mod of another game (at least it felt that way when I heard sounds used in other Valve games) seems a bit much. This should be priced more like TF2, $20 would be better.

The demo made my Nvidia 8800 GT start screaming. And I really don't like the human characters you control or the dumb shit they say. Standard action cliche phrases like the biker guy who uses the shotgun and says something stupid about Christmas as he shoots zombies. The human characters have way too much health for a zombie game- usually getting mobbed and bitten repeatedly by zombies means instant death but you can get away with it quite a few times.

It'd be more realistic if you had more than 4 controllable players a game who took alot less to kill off. If you have counterstrike play zombiemod instead.

Maybe there's much better things to the game than what the demo showed, but based on the demo alone I ain't buying.

In the PC version, there is a Versus mode where you can play Survivors vs. Zombies. You can play as zombies. www.pestgaming.com has 5 servers up and running.

Tried to DL the L4D demo on the 360 last night. It didn't download, I said fuck it and went back to playing something else.

it was a little bit freaky playing. but the cartoonish aspect sorta killed it for me. and the mutant style zombies did also.

it got my attention and spooked me. but it was also midnight and I had the lights out.

id rent it over buying.

I've heard good things about this and in principle it seems fun, but I can't stop playing nba 2k9. I've been logging a shitload of games in 5 on 5 online, and trying to work my way up the Other Season ladder. I don't think I'm going to find any time for other games.

Army of Two had garbage MP. It was so jumbled and riddled with bugs.

Well, multilplayer is open to 4 person co-op and the other MP is pretty solid.

It would have been alot better if they hadn't created the cartoon characters on the Survivors side. Ok, it wouldn't have much improved things because there's only 4 players a server (for humans anyway) that are way too overpowered for simple guys with guns.

The fact that you can plant a zombie with three handgun shots to the gut also goes against a major zombie tradition (and fast zombies suck). Think I'll stick to Fallout3 and save some money.

It's not for everyone. Although, playing as the zombies is badass.

Overpriced and shit load of bugs for the PC.... Gameplay gets repetitive after awhile and boring its virtually the same shit over and over again. I score it a 49%... Better off getting FAllout 3

I can barely kill the witch in any "regular" way let alone in one shot. But I will keep trying.

According to some video walkthrough, you have to be behind her with a shotgun and shoot her in the shoulder area where her hair ends. It's like a one pixel shot.

I cannot stop playing this evil game. I have over 80 360 games and even the new ones I pick up tend to only keep my attention for a few days at a time, but I keep going back to that goddamned left 4 dead over and over. I finally started getting bored of the campaign mode after months and countless hours, and then I got my dumb ass hooked on versus mode. This game is worse than hooker-exploding super-crack and by the time I start getting bored of versus, those evil pricks at Valve will have released the new levels and weapons DLC.......
