It's not like he's intentionally putting them there thinking, 'haha now she's gonna be really pissed when she trips over them." He's not my enemy, not doing it maliciously, he's just forgetful. Now I just move them and I'm happy.

It sucks sometimes and it's hard work but that's what marriage is about like it or not. But it's great, too. I don't want to encourage people like Doug who thinks you can't ever be happy. At least that's what it sounds like he's saying.

It is amazing that they are vocal about the things they dislike, but I am sure you are like me and keep an eye out for the things she likes and you try and get more of them for her.
