My screen

So i have this thin green line that is on my monitor screen. Sometimes it goes away but it is there more than not. What can I do to fix it?

i think green usually means that a magnet fucked the monitor up

but i could be completely wrong

I was going to say the same thing if it's a crt and a degauss might help...

I have gotten that on my laptop as well and haven't been able to figure out how to remove the line, but it will only appear on one or tw windows, not the whole screen.
