Hey kids, I'm teaching Brave New World right now and am trying to include a piece about propaganda. Everyone here is so savvy with technology; I thought you folks could save my lazy ass some time. Post your favorite old war, political, drug, whatever propaganda poster here so I can cut and paste to my powerpoint. :help:
My favorites are the WWII posters and any Reefer Madness
If you've never read BNW, you really should. Huxley was a pretty trippy dude 75 years ago and his dystopic vision of the future with consumerism, science as religion, conditioning and "delicious Soma" are pretty darn accurate. Don't fall into the "crevice of time!"

This site (http://www.teacheroz.com/WWIIpropaganda.htm) should have more than enough for you.
Quite entertaining.

Thanks, I knew I could count on my RF bros. May you all enjoy an Orgy-Porgy or a good "feelie"
At some point I'll learn to post pics here

I made a ppt presentation on WWI for a history class last year. Defines different aspects and shows examples. Problem is the computer it is on is currently in the shop getting fixed. I could send it to you in a couple of days if it would help. When are you doing the lesson?

This (http://www.civildefensemuseum.org) is also a good link for propoganda and also government crowd control, procedure, and war preparedness.
Duck and cover, follow the signs, listen to the radio (or else) stuff.
