When Ric Flair Joined the WWF
the first time there was a
short period Where the Hammer
was a good guy. I believe he
turned good when he broke up
with the ever great tag eam of
Rythm and Blues. One would
have thought this would be the
perfect time to make Flair
Fight Hammer... even if it was
just for one fight..... But
back in those days... You
hardly got the matches you
wanted to see and it never
happened. This is the best to

Remember that line of crap Gorilla Monsoon used to feed us about Valentine? "He doesn't get warmed up until at least 20 minutes into the match." Oh, so THAT is why he spent all that time using boring rest holds.

Valentine was pretty good in the early 80s, though, including his feud with Backlund.
