Nukes or Zombies

Which do you think you would have a better chance of surviving; a nuclear holocaust or a zombie holocaust?

The problem with the nukes is that it's hard to find a radiation proof shelter but you will usually have a little warning. Where as with zombies, the shelter doesn't have to be all too sophisticated, but one day you will wake up in the dawn of the dead, no prep time.

I've fought zombies face to face before. I've stopped nuclear warfare but wouldn't know what to do when nukes hit, even though I have survived post-apocolispe scenerios (no spellcheck on this edition of Firefox I'm on).

I'm not a fighter, so I'd rather just die immediately from the bombs. Of course, knowing my luck, I wouldn't die immediately. I'd get horrible radiation poisoning and die very slowly. :down:

if its certain death....and if I KNOW that the zombies WILL kill me as sure as a nuke will, then give me the nuke. I gotta think that being eaten alive by ghouls and then having to join them in the quest for live flesh is a hell of a lot more horrifying and painful than instant vaporization.

And I would go with Zombies. It is kind of a depressing existence, but you don't have to worry about radiation poisoning, nuclear winter, and the other stuff that comes from nuclear devestation. It is possible to fend off zombies and maintain a semblance of normal life, although it would definitely be hard and require constant vigilance.

Too many of you have read Max Brooks to make this anything other than a landslide in favor of being attacked by zombies. (Aim for the head, act quietly and remember that, although fire is an effective sterilization weapon, a fireball pack of burning ghouls is even more dangerous than the ghouls themselves.)

This could be a good thing or a bad thing, but I honestly wouldn't want to be holed up with any of you fuckos and have to rely upon you to fight off ghouls with me.

1) Nukes. As my wife can attest to, my germphobia and OCD leads to massive zombie hatred. With a passion. At least with Nukes, I can be Mad Max.

2) The TV will be worthless after a nuclear attack. No one will be broadcasting.

nothing certain. you have a chance to survive either. it all comes down to which you think you'd be better equipped to survive, or at least survive long in.
