View Full Version : My Testicle Hurts!

My testicle hurts. I did not get hit in it or anything, and the only weird thing I can think of was that I did not have an orgasm for 2 weeks and when I realized it, I made sure that that streak ended. But the pain seems to be on contact, if I rub it gently, I get an ache as if I was recently hit (but was not). What could cause this? My first thought was cancer so I looked it up and saw how to do a self exam and did not feel anything out of the ordinary (except the ache), no bumps or masses. I have put on weight recently though. It seems to be just my left one.

This certainly could be a case of "epididymitis"...check out this thread (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=71257&highlight=epididymitis) and let me know if it doesn't cover your question. We can delve deeper into it if it doesn't.

about a few weeks ago i had a little pain in one of my nuts. I swear, i obsessively checked it for any kind of tumor or lump...but my nut was as smooth as can be. It went away in 2 days...havent thought about it since

yeah, you can even jack it too hard and get nut pain for a couple of days. Mild nut pain in the absence of lumps that goes away in a day or so is almost certainly something benign.

Check your nuts every month, though, that goes for the rest of you wearing testicles, too. Report any odd findings to your regular medical professional!

I've had that happen before. Did you have very aggressive sex lately? Especially doggy style? I found that one or both of my nuts would hurt the next day. I can only guess that is was caused by my balls smackin against her ass.

Or sometimes when the girls on top they get a little too crazy and slam their ass down real hard on your nut(s).

In fact I've actually broken my cock before because my wife came down hard on me, while I was less than completely hard. My cock folded in half. You wanna talk about pain! It was a few days before I could pee painfree, a couple weeks before morning wood wasn't unbearable, and it was months before I was able to have sex again.

Go see a urologist. You don't want to take chances with your most important tool, that just happens to be your favorite toy too.

I Had epididymitis after my vasectomy.....3 weeks of hell....One of the most painful things I have ever experienced......I think someone told me the antibiotic they treat it with was the same one they give you for anthrax...I hope you nut feels better soon...

Don't sweat it... you've just got a bad batch buildup. It'll run its course and be fine in a day or so.

Yeah, they'll use Cipro (ciprofloxacin, the anthrax drug), or doxycycline for epididymitis, for the few times that it's actually a bacteria causing the problem. The area is just so hard to get a culture from that most docs will just treat it "empirically".

I've had that happen before. Did you have very aggressive sex lately? Especially doggy style? I found that one or both of my nuts would hurt the next day. I can only guess that is was caused by my balls smackin against her ass.

this is a good point..."vigorous sex" is considered a risk factor for epidimytis, for the reasons you stated. Trauma to the area where the nut joins the vas deferens (the cord attaching the nut to the rest of the body) is the problem. OUCH!

Fracture of the penis is considered to be a medical emergency. Like you said, it generally happens when the woman is thrusting; in general, this happens to a semi-erect schlong, but it can happen in rare cases with a fully erect member. If there's severe pain, swelling, or bruising, a trip to the emergency room is in order; sometimes the fibrous sheath of the penis (the "tunica albuginea") rips, requiring a urologist to fix it. Additionally, fracture of the penis can cause scarring in the area of folding, which causes a bend in the erection, which is called "Peyronie's disease".

here's a NSFW link to a drawing of before surgery and DURING surgery for peyronie's disease:

I'm not even posting the penile fracture images I found...to f-ing disturbing. Google 'em if you must.

I was wondering how your balls smack the ass of a chick during doggy style sex? Typically my balls smack the pubic mound just above the clitoris. Just wondering.

When doing the "jackhammer" yes the balls give her ass a good beating.

AMEN! I had a student who was 29 years old. He came to me complaining of testicular pain with deep lower abdomen pain. Upon exam I had to send him up to our squadron surgeon and my patient saw that "look" in my eyes. He had testicular cancer but an early enough stage that he was treated and in remission last I had checked. Testicular cancer is very dangerous and most common in younger men.

Feel your balls guys, get to know them.

yes! we've stressed it on the show and in this forum...Testicular Cancer is a young man's disease. The crappy thing about it is that most young men have never heard that they need to check their nuts periodically, just as women need to do self-breast exams. For some reason, its just not "out there" as it should be. Docs don't talk about it enough, the media never mentions it (except when Tom Green had it, and I'd bet there's a huge percentage of readers of this board who don't know who Tom Green was/is).

FEEL YOUR NUTS! If you feel something rocky or "stuck" or lumpy or anything out of the ordinary, get it checked out. Most things are nothing, but the few that ARE something can usually be totally cured if found early.

ha!

not saying that they SHOULD know who he is because he's so awesome, but rather illustrating how this kind of thing fades from the public consciousness after awhile. Tom Green was on every news show and talk show for awhile talking about his testicular cancer (it happened right after "road trip" came out) and now no one knows who he is.

so we have to keep harping on ball awareness every once in awhile so everyone knows about it!
