ive actually never seen a board like that. my brother and i used to have one of the ones with the metal rods to turn the players and move them up and down the board. lots of fist fights ensued. nok hockey looks pretty fun though.

we also had tons of slap hockey sticks and would play on the linoleum floor in our basement.

i won a nok hockey tournament in day camp when i was eight.

we used to play at summer rec all the time in the town i lived in before mahwah. At the end of the summer, the last week of rec was all the town recs at this one huge park together and we had a huge kickball and huge nok hockey tourney. I won the Nok Hockey tourney twice in 3 years BITCHES. 100 kids basically each time. I WILL OWN YOU ALL

our rules were finger shots off the block only if the puck stopped in the crease. If it went off the board you shot it from the blue line, YOUR OWN BLUE LINE, WITH THE PLASTIC STICK. The crease was the ONLY time you didnt have to use the stick. NO banana shots either, you cheatin fucks

my lanyards rocked. & i don't think that i even knew nok hockey came with sticks until my parents bought me a set years later. on rainy days you had to scrounge around for whatever game you could get so i think we were pretty lucky to even get a game with a puck.

in 4th-6th grade the gym teachers held a "Field Day" for a day where there were like 10 teams made up of everyone in the grade and the team captain would choose who would do what event, kindve like a track & field meet. except one of the events was the nok hockey tourny. that was for the crippled/fat/lazy kids and girls who didnt give a shit about the steeple chase
