Pretty high expectations for this year.

Should be either the four seed, or the five seed, in the East, and win a playoff series.

NBA Finals or a Championship is a Kick Ass Season

Eastern Conference Finals is a great season

Winning rd 1 and losing in the Eastern Semis is a good season

all else is a big fat failure

your team with Brand makes you one of the top 3 in the East

I'd agree with that assessment.

They're the top of the second tier in the East.

It'd take something pretty special to challenge Boston or Cleveland, though.

That's why I'd set the bar at winning a playoff series.

I'm really excited about the new season. Always been a big fan of the sixers, and this season looks like it may be big.

for philly to be the next boston, the eagles would have to win like 3 SBs.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. Ahhh, glad we never have to worry about that

The best part about this Knicks nightmare is that the Larry Brown led Bobcats will win more games this year.

Write it on a rock.

True.

That's why Donovan announced the Phillies lineup last night.

Closest he'll ever get to a championship again.

sadly, prob true. But things appear to be turning around, esp with dantoni basically sayin marbury and curry both wont start. Fuck them and their money, sit there and shut up while we go run around. There have been more things this year to get excited about. Like when I heard Isiah ODed, that was a big one

Now he'll be called for eight three-second violations in a row and turn the ball over 12 times.

What is it with Philadelphia teams and awful starts.

They better win tonight to make up for last night's abortion.

Who could stop the Kirilenko 3 point machine? That game against Utah was nuts last night!

At least they're winning with 2 minutes to go tonight.

Good showing tonight.

About time Iguodala finally hit a couple shots.

So those of use who stuck with this game, despite the Sixers being down 26 in the 2nd quarter, realize that they actually came back to win.

As nauseating as this team can be (especially since the only person on it that can actually hit a jump shot is Kareem F'n Rush), one thing that I learned last year and appears to hold true this season is that no lead is save against the Sixers.

They play way too quick, and are way too good on the break to where they can rip off points in bunches if teams get sloppy.

Now get someone who can knock down a shot!

What a difference a couple weeks makes.

So, they've really salvaged their season with this nice little winning streak.

DiLeo's done a decent job.

They're up to 8th in the Eastern Conference, two under, and playing good ball, with Brand back any day now.

If they can find a way to incorporate him into the fast break style (and Stefanski has suggested that they'd like to use him as a trailer who can come in at the end of the break, they can kick it out to, and he can hit a 16 footer...which is a solid plan), they could be dangerous in the 2nd half.

The top three seeds in the East are pretty much set (the order to be determined), but 4-8 is still WAY up for grabs. The Sixers still have a shot to keep it together.

Complete dismantling of the Suns tonight.

Marreese Speights is turning in a very nice rookie year.

1.5 back of Miami for the six spot,
2 back of Detroit for the five spot,
3.5 back of Atlanta for the four spot.

That's as high as they can get this season.

I'm really loving this team right now. Can't wait to go to the Spectrum game in March.

Question:

Do you trade Andre Miller(for the right player) while you can still get something for him, even though you might risk messing with the chemistry they have going right now?

Nope.

Trading your point guard wouldn't just mess with the chemistry, it could possibly shatter it.

You ride it out with him. If he walks, hopefully Louuuuuuuuuuu is ready to step in next season.
