that will pop up and my internet connection will drop.... dont know why

That's the default IP for linksys routers... do you have more than one device connecting to the internet? I had the same problem when I got my PS3 and 360. You have to make sure they all are set to "obtain IP Address automatically" or some crap if that's your problem.

It's an IP address conflict. Your device is trying to get the first address (192.168.1.101) and another device (00:1d:d9:0b:d4:8d) is already using it. Change all your devices to automatic DHCP if you can to stop this problem.

your router is giving the first computer or networked device the ip address. each additional device is also trying to obtain it.

do routers have firmware to give ips like a mini dhcp?

is it wireless, i bet someones sharing your internet connection without you knowing it.

when they connect its booting you off cause of how you have it setup.

Oh wow, that sucks. I remember that was happening to me when I was in college and we tried to do wireless through only one wall jack so we'd have one for the xbox.
