IT is it a dying industry?

just wondering if the IT industry is dying? networking. web design. programmer etc..

im asking because im doing cisco ccna certification at night and plan to go back to college in sept to do either a networking, programming or web design diploma.

I want to be sure that there are jobs out there that pay decent wages and aren't just call centers with a shit load of arabs for 10 bucks an hour.

here in silicon valley you now need grad school to even be considered for anything over 14 bucks an hour

im in canada, so I guess grad school is like having your masters?

of all those, going for programming is the way to go. the other ones are not going to hold as much weight.

it is not at all a dying industry. it is just very dynamic and things change as the years go on. you have to be able to adapt
