goddamnit, it hate these Toyota 'Saved by Zero' commercials. they're all over the World Series and NFL games. who, or what is being 'saved by zero'?!?

i hate the stupid jingle, and i hope whoever sang it gets ass and throat cancer. i have to switch channels for 30 seconds every time that stupid commercial comes on (which is just about every commercial break).

I couldn't agree more; I probably have heard that jingle 25 times today. It's this year's Mellencamp Chevy.

yeah, those were terrible, too. definitely a channel changer. and they also had the lower right corner of the screen pop ups during the game! the frank caliendo Dish TV ads are just as bad. i guess i'm not a frank caliendo fan.

Mikey is right. "Major Tom" is a new-wave song by Peter Schilling that is a semi-sequel to the Bowie song.

At least those had several different versions; the fucking Toyota commercial is the same every time.

I think they played it during EVERY break during the Patriots game today.
