I know some of us travel for work or pleasure or to avoid child support (Wampus) and still check in daily to post.
So where are you at right now?

The weather has been awesome. Its in the mid to high 70's, clear skies and I'm up 600 bucks.
The job put me up at the Golden Nugget on Fremont St. Never stayed downtown before, its a nice change from the strip (except the chicks aren't nearly as hot).

Why do they pain the bottoms of the trees?
Maybe because the Prophet did it?

They make a profit doing that? Damn. I'm gonna go paint some trees.

It might make me a terrible person but I hate gambling, I come to Vegas to eat and go to parties.
Ate at Andre's last night, the original down town location. VERY good french food, place is closing up a the end of the year and the entire operation is being shipped to the Monte Carlo, where they already do have a place but now they are closing down the one that opened up 20 something years ago and will be putting all their effort into the strip. This is the guy who also runs the place at the top of The Palms. Unlike other places which have a fancy chef's name on them Andre actually spends his time in his places and when he is at a paticular location he does the cooking. They have a very nice congac collection with the most expensive being $800 a shot.
Lunch yesterday at Cafe Bellagio, nice little place, nothing too fancy but it was a quick meal.
Fat Tuesdays when I showed up as per tradition of every trip.
Today I hope to get to The Mirage buffet for lunch and tomorrow The Wynn buffet for dinner.
Party last night at Studio 54 for halloween.
So far The Palazzo is a very nice hotel. I think the room may be longer than my little place I live in back at home. 25 paces from door to window. Staying on the consierge level rooms so we get a private lounge, free internet (which is what I am using now), open bar each night, and snacks and water during the day.

Just stay out of O'Shea's Casino... Trust me. They may have $1 table minimums, but it's depressing as all hell.

To reflect the sun, or else they would fry, dry out, and die.

Still in Phoenix. Still have better weather than DC (still in the 90's during the day). Flying back to VA in 12 days for 2 weeks. I miss my mommie.

I'm in LA right now but I get to head up to Nor Cal (San Fran, Sac and Tahoe) on Wednesday before finally getting to go home to NY.
The nor cal trip is a helping mom move/wedding location scout/mini vacation. Really can't wait to get up to Tahoe.
