The 'moving' thread got me thinking about this. How many physical addresses have you had in your life time? Don't include college when you my move every semester. Your age will play a factor in this for sure, so you can add that if you wish.
I've lived in exactly three houses in 40 years. I can see the the first two from my current location although one is about three miles away.

My alma mater doesn't deliver your mail to your dorm; they have five central post office locations at the student centers on campus where you get your mail. So my college address was pretty much the same through my entire undergrad stint, although I lived in five different dorms (on two different campuses.) [It changed slightly my Sophomore year due to changes in FedEx's delivery policy, but since the physical location of my mailbox didn't change I don't think that really counts as a change.]
I am going to count college, because my address didn't change although my location did.
Counting college, I have had 6 different addresses.

Are you people counting IP addresses and rearranging you furniture because some of these numbers are bananas??
If you've lived in 20+ homes in less the 100 years you are just simply too hard to satisfy..
I believe roots are important and so is having a sense of home..
Maybe some of these social ills  we suffer from as a society these days have something to do with all the vagbonds with a.d.d we have roaming the country's highways and biways..

hmmm, from 0 - 6 in an apartment, then moved across town, new school and all, that was another apartment, at 13 we moved out in the country... farm life... yay
at 17 moved back to the city into an apartment. 19 I moved across the ocean to live with a family in NJ, at 20 moved back home into a house with my mom...
then at 21 moved back to NJ. Rented a room... then stayed with my ex's family at their house, then rented an apartment for a little over a year and then bought my house in PA where I sort of settled for the past 5 years.
so all in all... 10 unique addresses... not bad in 30 years.
