Ron Howard as Opie did a better job then Ed did trying to be Al again. Poor Ed O'neil

I have to hand it to Ron Howard, though, it was inventive. I liked how during the Happy Days segment, set in the 1950's, they didn't bother to move the modern pick-up and car in the background.

All these actors are preaching to the choir, I doubt they're going to change anyone's mind.

however, i think if you polled people today who would actually sit through an entire Andy Griffith episode on TV Land (Happy Days too in that matter) they are probably old fucks who vote. And they probably have traditional republicany values
