exess baggage? He has been in the league for 2 years, not 10. And if you havent notice, patrick ewing jr wasnt the fleetest off foot. Maybe Roberson is better running with the offense. Why not keep a guy who might fit instead of wasting ewing as the 5th big man ont he bench when he could maybe get minutes somewhere else. I think it was the right move.

i dont think they even hate him. Esp with Curry not playin, I think Zach will be a beast. But his contract goes past 2010 and for like 17 mill a year by then. Plus he does have alot of talent, and teams are interested. So you might actually be able to get rid of his money to a team.

I have a few ideas for what they could do. But i think a big thing could be, around jan feb, if zbo has been solid, find a team for him, take back short deals. Then find a team that wants some cap room bad after this season. Convince them to eat the 2 years of curry at 10 ill, esp if you throw in something else enticing (possibly, sadly, David lee. Esp if they arent gonna pay him anyway because they want cap room. WHICH IS DUMB. But maybe you can find a team that will take marbury and just buy him out and eat the 10 mill on curry, giving them still 12 mill more cap space end of the year.

If you can somehow dump curry and randolph, you could afford to resign lee and have big time FA money in 2010. I think its possible, esp with teams like memphis being allowed to still make deals. Never know.

yea they go some backups in, miami got so momentum, they came back with the starters but its hard to turn the gas back on. It wasnt as ugly as it seemed, and when it did get real close the knicks did answer right back. So it wasnt that bad.

q looked pretty good, took smart shots. Crawford was his usual self, just not quite as often. Nate played solid, Duhon didnt get many minutes in the second half, which is most of what i saw, first half i heard.
Z Bo played pretty fuckin good, even contested some shots. Lee was a fuckin BEAST. He even kicked some awesome passes out of the pick and roll and post.
Wilson Chandler also looked pretty fuckin good off the bench. The have a solid group they can play, as long as the other 7 cancers dont infect it. I think in 2-3 years, if they are smart, AND RE SIGN LEE AND NASTY NATE, they have a shot to be really good. Even without bron.

First off, Crawford isn't that great. His scoring average is good because he is a shoot first player with not many other scorers on the team. Randolph is good, but Harrington will do just as much. The team wasnt going to do anything big this year anyway, we all knew that. We should get another pretty decent draft pick this year and free up space for superstar players in 2010. Its a great move and shows the fans that they at least want to win in the future. We need to do something like the Celtics did getting Allen and KG. Thats what Walsh is trying to do, and I appreciate it. They have to rebuild this team from nothing to fix what Isiah did.

However, it is our understanding the Knicks can waive the physical results, accept the deal and allow Mobley to play with the team tomorrow night against the Cavs.

The trade between the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers involving forward Zach Randolph, forward Tim Thomas, guard Cuttino Mobley and guard Mardy Collins is currently in limbo because of a physical concern raised by the Knicks about Mobley, according to a source. As a result, Randolph will not be in uniform for tonight's Clippers game against New Orleans.

The source said that the Knicks raised the concerns about Mobley and have yet to sign off on the deal as a result. While players do have to pass a physical in order to join their new teams, those teams are allowed to waive physicals in order to expidite trades. It is not known if Mobley has taken a physical yet in New York.
