It was OK, went to an all girls Catholic school with 36 people in my class. I still talk to 4 girls who are my best friends...only talk to a few from college.

I'd love to hear one supermodel, comedian, or any celebrity say that he/she kicked ass in high school. It seems like the right thing for a supermodel to say is "I was a gawky, tall ugly geek and no boy would ask me out". Comedians need to say, "I was part of the nerd crowd who would make fun of the popular kids behind their backs". I haven't heard one celebrity say, "I banged the cheerleaders, drank tons of cheap beer, beat the shit out of everyone weaker than me, and spent tons of my parent's money when I was in high school". I don't believe that all of the popular rich jock assholes and cheerleaders just faded into obscurity after high school.

I figured they all peaked in HS and that's why they've faded into the backdrop. If you're the guy who beats on the weaker guys, drinks cheap beer, and fucks the cheerleaders, then you'll find that life after HS (possibly college) isn't as easy. All of a sudden your parents are less forgiving, as you've 'matured' and the police are less forgiving, as you're no longer a minor - to some HS is the high point in life ... that's why those fuckers try to force you back into their little world every 10 years.

Meh it was okay. Didn't hang much with the typical peeps. I was always in with the group of guys who played in bands and went to the Rock Palace & SRO's every weekend. No ID, no problem... It was great for a 14 year old kid to walk into a bar in a and get served.

I had this conversation when I was back home and ran into some classmates at a bar. They hated High School and everything that went along with it but I loved it, especially Senior year.

No real cares in the world, awesomely shitty car, typical high school girlfriend, Football and a public access show that gave me a creative outlet. It was a good time.
