This is one of the most horrifying books I have ever read. We were not required to read it in high school so i put it off. i wish I hadn't, the part when they are trapped in the upstairs bedroom...are you kidding me? Fucking amazingly nightmareish.

With DVDs, I've learned to just be patient when it comes to out of print stuff. Stuff gets re-released so much that the minute you cave and pay $50 for an Ebay copy, it'll get a fancy 3-disc reissue. 1984 isn't a particularly obscure movie either, so I'm sure a new edition will come out.
