View Full Version : swiffer made just for women???

so I bought a swiffer wet jet today and as I assemble the thing I noticed how much the absorbent cleaning pad looks and feels like an Always Ultra sanitary napkin, just without the wings.
Now I am kinda disappointed, cause if it had wings it might just clean the house on its own.
what's up with that.
From now on I'm using pads to clean my floors and jamming swiffers up vaginas.

I wonder how many of the guys on this board saw the words "sanitary napkin" and backed out of this thread slowly.....
I, for one, love the swiffer! Maybe it is just for women. It's SOOOOO much easier than mopping. Wow, this is a girly thread, isn't it? Maybe we should talk about knitting and birthing babies next.

You just said the magic word for me

It's less funny if I say "carefully placing swiffers below vaginas."

Just goes to show you that this board is ignoring the needs of the womenfolk.

I guess so, cause then you'd have to explain the step of removing the paper so that the sticky side can stay in place. It would take all the funny out. You get the point for this round--now get out.

Hahaha.. I thought those cleaning pads looked familiar. It must be the dri-weave or something. Wings that could clean your house on its own would be awesome and so much better then Always With Wings, which are awful and annoying.

I've been using the swiffer for years, but you're saying an Always Ultra sanitary napkin will do a better job on my floors?

Knitting has always intrigued me, and I would like to try it. However, it also seems a little monotonous and that the thrill of learning a new skill might wear off rather quickly.
I guess I won't know until I try though.

It's easier than it looks. I'm self-taught, and I taught my husband so he could make himself a Doctor Who scarf. Get (I kid you not) Knitting For Dummies, and look up what you are having trouble with on youtube. The hardest part, I feel, was training your hands to move in ways they don't normally. But you develop the muscle memory for it rather quickly.

all I will say is; if you are a guy using this, don't mop up spilled tomato sauce with it... or your chick might think you red winged it with another lady

This looks like something Gene the Anal Retentive Chef would own.

I should create one of these how tos by instructing them to use the super size always ultras instead of the pads.
