samsung 32 inch lcd with 1080p or i (one of them anyway)
it shouldnt matter which one
i have a mac and the standard output is a dvi(same as the cable i bought and then the hdmi converter will plug into the back of most lcds(as long as you have the open slot)
the only disadvantage of doing it this way is that you will not get audio through the dvi part so you will have to run the audio from your mac which kinna sucks
so your 2 options depending on your imac are
vga to hdmi 15 foot male to male cable
http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/efjseller/042.jpg
or dvi to hdmi male to male 15 foot cable
(the one pictured above
if you plug those discriptions in directly to amazon it will come up with some cheap (under 15 buck options)
the other route is to go is a "vga to component" option
but that is more complicated
so find out whats open on ur tv and get back to us

the little plug on the end (closest to the base) is a mini dvi
it should have come with a plug that will work as a converter to standard dvi or vga
find that cable
get back to me

3' 4-6 pin firwire cable. Made at the store. That thing facilitated 1000s of hours of editing and fx design over like 10 years. Then my rabbits chewed it up. I got a new one, but it's not the same.
That was the best cable I ever bought. RIP.

Just a heads up, but one of the best websites around for ordering cables and adaptors is Monoprice. I've bought from them for years, and it is excellent: http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.asp
Not kidding. You can prob google about how bad people get ripped off for cables. The stuff sold at this site is high-quality stuff too.

That site is ridiculously cheap compared to any of the electronic stores.

montser cable is the worst at everything!
i bought some wires from them. components. but they were cheaper.
I hate cable that are super pricey.
With enough research you can get the right cable for cheaper than filling up your car.

I got the site bookmarked very cheap stuff the only problem I see is sometimes I need a cable for something right away and I don't feel like waiting for it to be shipped so I will go out and spend extra cash for convenience.

this is how much it will cost you to do the mini dvi to dvi (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10419&cs_id=1041912&p_id=4851&seq=1&format=2) conversion[/URL]
and then allz you kneed is this (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10231&cs_id=1023104&p_id=2505&seq=1&format=2) (unless you need more footage then this)
