In my other league...

-Offered a trade of Plaxico Burris for Tim Hightower - Do I take it?

-Out of the following RB's, what 3 would you start?
Marion Barber (I'm definitely starting)
Steve Slaton
Julius Jones
Jamal Lewis

Help would be appreciated

If receptions are valued, definitely take it. Hightower has little yardage, only touchdowns.

Slaton is a must start and Julius is the better play this week. LOCK IT UP!!!

Julius Jones would be my answer without even looking at stats because he's just so explosive. And even though the Seahawks suck (28th rushing), the Packers are 27th against the rush, so if he's going to do anything this year this is the type of team he would do it against.

Slaton plays for a middle of road rushing (16th) Texans team which is going against a Dolphins team that not only stops the rush (7th), but figured out how to score point with their new high school offense.

Jamal Lewis will be going against a Giants defense that looks really good. Now, being a life-long Giants supporter, I know that this is the type of game where the Giants go in looking unstoppable & get their doors blown off by a team that has no right beating them, so take that for what it's worth.

I would go with Jones, but then again I tend to always pick the wrong guy in these situations when I'm choosing for my own team. But if Jones doesn't have the best game of the three this week it would be an aberration.

As for the trade, if you're being asked to give up Plax then punch the other guy in the forehead for insulting you...plus it looks like you're fairly solid at RB so you don't need Hightower. If Plax is being offered to you, jump on that shit & hope the rest of the league doesn't veto it for being too one-sided.

I took the trade. I figured that even though Hightower has a nice upside, I would hardly use him (I haven't yet) and he would rot on my bench. Also I only have 2 WRs on my team.

As for the RB's I'm going with Barber, Slaton and Jones. Lewis hasn't done squat this year and I don't see him breaking out against the Giant D

you wanna cut slaton or trade him for Larry Johnson. I know Johnson is on bye this week, but if anyone saw his AWESOME performance against Carolina Sunday, I dont know why you wouldnt offer all 4 of those guys for him.


As for that trade, for hightower, you should get burress and and least 2 other top 5 round players. Hightower is one of the most valuable trade chips.
