Be careful parking at the meters on west side of 1st ave btwn 92nd and 93rd. The DOT put these No Standing signs inside the meters that are tough to see at night. But they WILL ticket you. I see it happen all the time.

last time I found street parking without meters, but there are garages right by and they are about 20 bucks for the night... which is ok compared to downtown 50 bucks parking
