Im talking about west wing or other shows that are dying

this season-heroes or entorage
these shows really feel like the are reaching
I was really into both
maybe too much time off

or for heroes not enough

what ever the case im still watching trying like them again but i simply dont care about them

im wondering how long do you keep watching a show you liked, that has turned shitty, hoping they turn it around?

its weird, i have never seen hero's listed on my tv guide thing, it's sort of weird.

its a show i always wanted to catch, but it seriously must be on a time or channel that i never scan past.

i miss jericho.

for me it's always been kind of organic. I don't think about when I'm going to stop watching a show, it just kind of happens. You miss a show or two, and eventually you stop realizing that you've been missing it because you've stopped caring. DVR kind of changes that whole paradigm, because the show is always there for you to watch until you delete it, so that's a much more active choice to make. I guess when you decide it's not worth your 22 minutes, it's time to stop watching.

its really easy to do with both comcast and direct tv from the guide or menu depending on which service

in the DVR age, what happens is you end up leaving the show on your DVR for weeks and weeks with no desire to watch it. Then you just delete it for room and you realize you don't care about that show anymore

i'm still a devoted viewer of prison break, and that show has been mediocre since the first season ended

that pretty much sums it up for me

the one x-factor is hope -- if you believe that the show will eventually turn around, hope can keep you tuned-in

I'm getting this way with prison break too. This season started off ok, but every episode has me losing more interest. I think the last one I was surfing the web on my blackberry while I barely watched.

Im inconsistent. Some shows like Seinfeld I tired of way ahead of the pack and gave up on after 4-5 years Others like Entourage I watch every week even though I feel it sucks. I can hang with a 30 minute show longer then a drama. I can do 22 minutes every week for something like My name is Earl even though its run its course for me.

GAZ summed it up pretty well if it piles up in Tivo eventually it gets deleted to make room

A couple of seasons ago, me and my husband gave up on CSI Miami. There's a BIG difference between suspending your disbelief and what the fuck. And when in an episode, instead of waiting on the bomb squad when he was IN the police station, Horatio drove a bomb to a possible public beach and let it explode while walking away all "cool"-like...that's when it lost us.

I'm through with 24 if there's another poopy season...It was already campy and ridiculous in the first place, but last season took it to such a level that it became completely obnoxious

i like how that was the problem with the show

not the fact that csi dont not carry guns, dont interrigate people, dont look at or examine bodies, and dont ever do anything other than take pictures and sweep for prints or semean. yea a bomb on the beach makes that show completely implosable.
forgive spelling

Actually, the Africa thing is a "24" TV movie one-shot in November. The new season starts in January or February.

I've contniued to stick with ER b/c it's nearing the end so I want the finality. It got boring for a few seasons, but last season came back very well. I have this season Tivo'd so far, so I'm hoping it stays good for the final year.

On the other hand, I dropped Gray's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and something else 3 episodes in last year b/x they were just dreadful in season 2, and the dreadfulness continued.

Heroes has been horribly acted, and there's too much future interaction, but I'm going to stick with it.
