I was having a discussion with a friend of mind and the topic of idenifing an agegroup with who was president came up. For example: most of GenX(I hate that term) identify with Reagan because he was president through most of our childhood. I don't remember Jimmy Carter even though I was 6 when he was in office. So the earliest president I can identify with is Reagan. Anyone else?

I was born when Eisenhower was in office, but I remember Johnson. I have a vague memory of watching the Kenndey funeral on TV. But I remember more of Nixon.

I remember watching Jimmy Carter's Inauguration as a kid, and my mom being happy that Ford didn't get re-elected. Oh how I'd love a Billy Beer about now.

yea isn't it kinda sterotyping to classify a whole generation and what qualitys some appear to have. Usually i'm all foe stereotyping but in this case i don't like it.

I am 23, and I definately identify with Reagan...he made us sit through countless numbers of elementary school plays about saying no to drugs and those horrible PSA's on TV...not to mention that summer when there was nothing on TV but 2 weeks of Oliver North hearings...I consider myself GenX, or a Child of the 80's...Bush? I relate more to Dana Carvey's sarcastic impersonations of him than the real guy.

Happy Holidays from myself and all of us at 'NSYNC<img src = "http://publish.hometown.aol.com/jimandbryan/myhomepage/jimsigpic2.jpg?mtbrand=AOL_US"> Thanks MANdrew for this pic

I guess Bush for me because he was the first president I could remember being parodied on SNL (you form your memories one way, I recall things through my awful memory another) and I think I'm Gen Y
