so my friend got me this cracked version of Final Cut Pro for my macbook pro (which i just bought in february), but when i try to run it, it says i am missing (or dont have a compatible) video card/component.

Does anyone know anything about this? Would a new macbook need an upgraded video card? Will i be able to run the cracked version if i do buy the component?

Any help would, well, help.

The legal versions we got work pretty good.

You can not upgrade the video card in a Macbook Pro. The Macbook and the Macbook Pro are very limited when it comes to what you can upgrade.

You can't use final cut pro on a White or Black MacBook because of the integrated graphics card on the Intel motherboard. Final Cut will work on a MacBook Pro (i use it on mine, a legal version too....who knew!!). It will also work on an iMac and of course on the Mac Pros. So if you wanted to use either version (cracked or paid for), your computer will first have to meet the requirements.
