I think some people get extremely insecure when someone they deem intelligent doesn't like what they like. I really hate when people say Ron is "too cool for the room" because he doesn't like what they like. He has his own tastes and so do you.

Just like the many people who are just as insecure and try to get his love by kissing ass, never disagreeing, or defending him as if he isn't perfectly capable of doing so himself.

This also applies to the "negative attitudes/posters" on the boards. Some will go overboard to in going against this, while Ron himself is the biggest ball-busting bastard (and don't get the wrong idea bc I love it). Some may even say he's (ooooooo) negative driven.

Longtime listner - first-time poster - I know he hates that!!

To be literal guy - Ron isn't one to go into his likes, he is more likely to go into his dislikes. Ron likes to spark conversation, and it's tough to do that when you like everything.
