This is my favorite time of year. I LOVE LOVE the time leading up to Halloween to Christmas (Hallowistmas).

As you may or may not know, Halloween lands on a Friday this year. Super horror haunted parties. That, and Boo Berry cereal is taste god.

What is everyone being for Halloween? What would you like to be?

I really really wish that R&F would do another Big Ass Night of Frights.

That being said, I have an idea for a costume that I'm teaming up with two other people for, but only if R&F do a BANOFrights

if i go to a halloween party this year, i may recycle last year's costume and be lara croft again :o

age be damned! once you start losing your excitement for halloween, you stop being human.

Oh please. Halloween is the one day you can dress up, regardless of age, and not feel like an oddball.

Going as a "Cherro" this year. Cherros are a common sight here in Arizona and New Mexico and I am sure anywhere else that has Mexicans. Skin tight jeans, green snake-skin boots, starched shirt, cowboy hat, big belt buckle, and mustache. I'm actually growing the mustache for this costume too. Should be fun.

Exactly. I think one of the reasons Halloween continues to become more popular as a holiday for adults is because every person out there with a kink can let their freak flag fly without repercussions. Closet tranny? Dress up on Halloween and your friends will never know that you secretly desire to dress like this more than once a year. Into BDSM, but too afraid to admit it? Get out the vinyl and strut your stuff on Halloween.

i hear ya.

i dress up all the time for stage and cabaret... so i think it's not as much of a novelty for me anymore. but it's still my favorite holiday. i like to be skeered!

I don't think I've dressed up for Halloween since I was in middle school. Now after watching Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas a few months back I want to be Raoul Duke.

I f'n love Halloween!

I'm gonna dress up as Juno and rock a pregnancy test box as a purse. My man's gonna be Shugar from No Country For Old Men and carry a pony keg for the weapon. I cannot wait. Let's all agree to post pics?

greenman would be a great costume, of course, you couldnt eat or drink, and your bulge, nooks and bits hang out everywhere.

I plan to be Juno, too, because Halloween falls 17 days before my due date. When BeerBandit bought me the Juno DVD it came with a Dancing Elk HS t-shirt. It's going to be awesome.

you have the best costume ideas. i loved the leigh bowery.

if i have anywhere to go this year i have the worlds simplest costume idea. i'm putting on a pair of long white gloves & going as rogue from x-men. done & done.

but it looks like i'll be working late that friday night up here so i got no where to go. there's always next year.

The last time I dressed up for Halloween was in college a few years ago. I got together with 3 other people and we were half assed Droogs from Clockwork Orange. I say half assed because we had the white clothes and bowlers and right weapons but we didn't bother finding cod pieces and odd cuff links. And I didn't bother shaving. And one of my friends was a short Asian girl.

we were gonna do that a few years ago & go to the parade in the village but i got sick & couldn't make it. so only two of them went. then my friend broke out pretty bad from the make up she used.

I'm going to go as a pizza delivery guy. I've had the same costume for six years.

I think all I'm doing for Halloween is going to a bar.

If I dress up, I'm just gonna wear my bathrobe, have my pants around my ankles, and carry around a lamp and a paddle ball and a chair, and go as Navin Johnson from The Jerk.

I'm stumped for a costume this year. Last year, I went around as an "Unsanctioned Scoutmaster". Following the same theme this year, I'm thinking of doing the "Unlicensed Ice Cream Truck Driver"

I turned last years costume into a sketch -

FINALLY the hole is closing on my web of standup influence. I have sent you some Myspace messages that might not make sense until you understand I forgot that I met you. Well, that guy's name was not Gym Shoes. Hi there! You're funny and I like you. I still have Mike's card in my wallet that reads "Unemployed."

Happy Halloween! Nearly!
