He would have been a long shot for MVP anyway, but some people had mentioned him, and frankly I agree that he was more the MVP than Howard because he was consistent all year. Howard didn't do shit until about June, and look at the numbers he wound up with. Imagine what the Phillies could have done if he had a better spring?! But Lidge has been perfect all year, 41 for 41 in save opportunities, and that has been the difference.
anyway, he won't get it now. gotta hope Howard does. (hoo hoo)

I just met Michael Durant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Durant), the inspiration from that movie, a few months ago at an award dinner for him. Some actor guy played him in the movie. Let me tell you how intense and very good this guy was. A true american and an honor to meet. He loved the movie, and said it was very very accurate. Sad.

Disney World rules. That said, the Magic Kingdom might be my least favorite of the various parks with Epcot and Animal Kingdom going back and forth for first place. But wherever you go it can be a lot of fun.
