I'm a hawks fan, and while this was in poor taste, they are just jokes. They are very very bad, hacky jokes, but it's just jokes. It's not like the guy went to ground zero and shot cum all over the place. It's been 7 years, at what point can we move on?

Sadly, the farther away you are from ground zero, Washington DC, or Shanksville, it's easier to move on and forget that people are still alive today who are deeply affected by what happened 7 years ago.

People were wondering what John Sterling would say if A-rod hit a homerun off of Dice K, or any other Japanese pitcher, because his usual saying is "Thats an A-bomb from A-rod" and some people thougth that might be offensive, even 60 years after Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I personally thought that was odd, cuz I'm not from Japan nor was I alive when it happened, but the fact that people THOUGHT about it ahead of time may answer your question as to when we can move on.

This guy's jokes were not only lacking in humor, but also simply distasteful and insensitive. Even he seems to realize this now, and for that I congratulate him. Did he have a RIGHT to post these 'jokes'? OF COURSE! But just cause you have a right to do something, doesnt mean it's the right thing to do.
