Hey,
I just want to know how to scale down an animated gif to use for a sig or avatar. I have photoshop cs1 and also gimp. Please let me know if I am on the right track with either of these. I am losing the animation part of image scaling when I open up in these.
Thanks!

photoshop elements:
image > resize > image size (to get the pixels down)
image > resize > canvas size (to set the image in size constraint, you might have to stretch or fill any gaps)

You can always post your request in the "Sig Favors" thread and we have plenty of nice folks here who would be happy to help.
Good luck!
I use Adobe Flash (example below), but haven't done it in some time.

Thanks for the help everyone! My user cp tells me I do not have permission to upload sig images, I am not sure why. Trying to link to a imageshack pic.
hmmm, image is reduced to half the original size, not sure why...
