I am sorry if there is already a conversation about this, but i can not find it... i am stumped... I just watched an hour of total nonsense waiting for this jump to death, and what the fuck? ABC, please please please give me a television show, i promise i will amuse much more then david bland can.... what the hell did i just watch? :flush:

yeah..he even looked a little embarrassed just hanging there..and even danced a little jig while being lifted out.. the dance reminded me of the same embarrassing jig that ashley simpson danced when she was on snl and was busted for lip syncing

i was at central park on 9/24 to watch david blain's dive of death, and let me just say it was a SHAM. he bungi jumped off of the scaffolding, while attached to a harness and a bunch of balloons (you can see the balloons in the flash of cameras, and at some point a light shines on them after he floats over me) that lifted him up and away.... where he touched down just a short distance away from where he started. on TV i was told that he just "disappeared" but that is DEFINATELY NOT what happened...

I can't believe this guy is still doing stuff. If he should be anywhere he should be in Vegas at one of those cabaret shows ala GTA4. It's shocking to me too that people really show up to watch.

Did you guys notice how the announce was so lively and energetic (as if he really believe in the hype of what was going on).... up until the very second of the dive.... once the cables where exposed and the boos ripped threw the air like bad gas... the announcer remained silent and mute.

Nothing I haven't seen others do but much better than his silly death defying stunts.

One thing I noticed is that he records a lot of his stuff w/ " lower class " people.

By that I mean he seems to do a lot in inner city and rural settings.

Just something I've picked up in 2 shows.
