Anyone watching this? I guess it premiered on G4 today with a marathon (what show premieres with a marathon?)

Anyway, the animation is awful (ive seen better at the O&A animation contests), the jokes are really lame and dated (and barely there) and whoever is doing Barf's voice sounds just like Pat from Moonachie (and if they used the real Pat at least he'd be funny)

Just a real mess of a show...also G4 puts so much crap on the screen..logos and scrolls and other weird stuff, its hard to watch the channel

Are you making this up? How did that get made?

What's next? Weekend at Bernie's the Claymation series?

mel brooks is doing the voices of his characters which is pretty impressive. I think Princess Vespa is the same person too...everyone else is doing bad versions of the voices of the actors

They couldn't even name this shit "The Search for More Money"? That's like the easiest thing you can do.

Spaceballs is a spoof on Star Wars
Star Wars has animated series,
therfore an animated Spaceballs should have been expected

maybe an animated Blazing Saddles is in the works

The animated Star Wars series IS a parody.

i think Mel Brooks should do a Blazing Saddles:The Musical on broadway

who wouldnt want an 8min musical segment entitled "The New Mayor is a N(ding dong)"

they can do a really long elobrate "good ol nigger work song"

they can do a really long elobrate "good ol nigger work song"

that would be the shortest run in Broadway history

I hear A&E is adapting "Triumph of the Will" with an all puppet cast.

just watched a few minutes, and it's terrible. there's barely any animation! just characters standing still with only their mouths moving (and not even in sync with what they're saying). didn't discern anything remotely resembling a joke during the few minutes i watched, either.

Looks like Bravo will be picking up the pilot for the Mannequin paper mache series.

HBO announced that it is going to retool "Sex In The City" using an all-Chimpanzee cast.

In other news, "Sex In The City" now features an attractive cast.

A parody of a parody? that's like a double negative or a space/time anomaly

I don't think John Candy is doing the voice of Barf in the animated series.

I'm pretty sure Bill Pullman died just after Independence Day came out, so he's not doing the voice of Lone Starr.

I didn't even know it premiered this weekend, but the 2 minute preview thinger they released promoting boobs didn't make it seem that good.

And imdb says Brooks and Daphne Zuniga are the only two to reprise their roles, but really what else does Daphne Zuniga have to do anyway?

90210 came back, so she may be waiting for the return of Melrose Place

I saw that too, and was fucking pissed off.

I LOVED that fucking movie. I grew up watching that movie over and over and over again. It was cheesy but it had the Mel Brooks charm to it and some clever moments in between the goofy shit.

The preview I saw of cartoon tits bouncing all over the place made me want to spit on my laptop screen. Of course there was a sexual overtone to some of the jokes in Spaceballs, but EVERYTHING about the cartoon is sexual? Seems like a bunch of "smack you over the head with it" jokes that aren't even whitty.

The preview was so bad I won't even watch the show. Way to kill another memory from my childhood.

the movie was cool because it took all the bloatedness of star wars condensed it it to one movie and made it good. the cartoon did suck a fat cock i could not make it through one whole show but the movie still rules

I watched the first two. I always allow the first one to be shitty. But after the second mess I did delete the last two from my DVR. Just utter crap. Funny is just one of those things that declines with age, I guess.
