Afterwards, there was a plane crash in South Carolina; it was a Lear Jet that was carrying six people, 2 crew and 4 passengers. At least four are dead, and Travis and DJ AM are "seriously injured". They were leaving SC earlier than scheduled, because the wife of someone on the plane (who was not in SC, but wherever it is they all came from) went into labor. Trying to decipher this exchange made my head hurt. Here's what I think is being said.

They were leaving SC earlier than scheduled, because the wife of someone on the plane (who was not in SC, but wherever it is they all came from) went into labor. "Flying back" means they were going home. The only way to do this on a plane safely would be from a runway. Therefore, when Sailor said Chigworthy was not making sense, he was right. But Chigworthy wasn't making sense, because he didn't understand the possible scenario, that Sailor was talking about.
