A sheik from Saudi Arabia, a former diplomat posted in Washington, has put out a fatwa on Mickey Mouse, calling him the new enemy of Islam. "Mickey Mouse is a soldier of Satan, and everything he touches becomes impure," said Sheik Muhammad al-Munajid. (Guysen.International.News)


You know, i've just about had it with these wackos.....i try to be tolerant of their religion and silly "cultural practices", but what the fuck?


Then it dawned on me....if i had to fast for 30 days for Ramadan, i would be a delusional, angry, and irritable guy as well.

For you young whippersnappers: this was the yellow ribbon car magnet / American flag on the house equivalent of the Iran Hostage Crisis in the late 70's. How Mickey Mouse came to be the national spokesman against Islamic extremism during our time of national malaise I don't know. Also, how he managed to flip the bird with only four fingers further confuses me.

But, I remember being a nine year old kid and seeing all these Mickey Mouse bumper stickers everywhere and people wearing t-shirts with the same icon. My dad even made photocopies at work and hung a bunch in our front window. Take that you hostage taking fucks!

I can't remember the specific group but I am sure there is an evangelical church that boycotts Mickey and the rest of Disney because of their gay appreciation day in Orlando. Maybe they should reach out to this Saudi ex-diplomat. I've always thought that our religious fundamentalists and those in the Middle East have a lot of common ground.

disney doesnt have a gay appreciation day,gay day is just a day alot of gays show up en masse.it isnt sanctioned and that hick kansas church attacks it to get pub and money for their church.in the 90s that church had 30sum odd members.their "protest" had around 20 hicks that held signs and yelled stupid slogans like GOD HATES FAGS.it woulda remained largely ignored if a certain SE radio duo,ok ron n ron, hadnt used them to make fun of ignorance,plus fez got to do alot of the interviews,which made it alot funnier
