Perrynoid,
I just pulled out a few of my old compilation albums out, I was the guy in the group to make the party tapes.
The original K-tel albums from the 70's kinda sucked because they were not always the original artists. In the 80's though I got some great stuff:
HIT MIX:
the romantics - talking in your sleep
billy idol -- rebel yell
pretenders -- middle of the road
van halen -- jump
Rock 80-
Gary Numan -- cars
Pretenders --brass in pocket
Nick Lowe - cruel to be kind
Joe Jackson -is she really going out with him
Blondie -call me , one way or another
The Ramones -do you remember rock and roll radio
The Knack - my sharona
Cheap trick - I want you to want me
Pat Benatar - Heartbreaker
sniff n the tears -- driver seat
Well that is enough.. lol
I still have all of my albums about 5-6 hundred.
SPINNING PUPS
Talk Talk - Talk talk
Stray Cats --fishnet stockings
The Vapors -- turning japanese
Kim Wilde -- Kids in America
Well that is enough
