Is there such a thing as a time calculator that helps me calculate my work hours, plus overtime? I have always had trouble adding time, and I have gotten in trouble at work by working more overtime than I am allowed because I do not add time right.
If they had something online, that would be best.
Say I work 8 to 5 usually, and they have been letting us get up to 3 hrs a day over time. If I start at 6:30 and work through lunch, how late can I stay? Something like that. Every day I start early, but it varies by what time I get in. I know it seems stupid simple, but for some reason I have trouble.

530 would be the latest you could work

230 to 530 3 ot hrs

Just ask your employer what time you should leave, and always trust that they are keeping an accurate count of your hours.

If employees just asked less questions, the world would be a better place.

I saw that one but I could not figure it out. I was looking at this one:

http://www.1728.com/timecard.htm

But the total time is only in hours, not in hours and minutes.

I know what you mean, bro. I'm no good at math, at all,
add to that the fact that I work 8hours 57minutes a day...
when I try to figure out overtime if I work, say, 2hours 26 minutes extra, boggles my mind.

I usually just say, 8:57 is really 9 hours, and subtract the 3 minutes after the rest of the math... but sometimes I forget.

AND I'm supposed to keep track of my cops overtime too, and they work 8:35.

I could use this device too.

Take the total regular hours you're suppose to work:
8 to 5: that's 9 hours

then add the overtime hours
9 + 3 = 12 - the total hours you're working that day.

Take the time you started: 6:30am and add 12 hours - you get 6:30pm

9-5 and you can work 3.5 overtime you started at 7:45
9 to 5: that's 8 hours

then add the overtime hours
8 + 3.5 = 11.5

7:45 + 11.5hours - you get 7:15pm
(easier to think of 7:45 + 11hrs = 6:45, then add a half hr back on - 7:15)

Eggggggsactly! Blackbird's point still stands. There should be a device for this.

Yeah but it needs to be a base 60.

Yeah but it needs to be a base 60.

even worse, it has to be base 60 for the minutes and seconds but regular base 10 for the hours.
