I'll tell ya one thing.
Those Seinfeld/Superman commercials kicked all kinds o' ass. I think those are my favorite commercials of all time.
(except, of course, for those jump n jive gap commercials with the dockers, bullet time, and swing dancing. Best spots I've ever seen. )

I thought they were awful and made no sense. I still do not get this part of the shoe store one. While trying on shoes, Jerry asks Bill if that's his toe to which Bill replies "No, it's leather" and then they smirk at each other. What the fuck did that mean?!?!

microsoft is one of the few companies who can afford to do such a long term commercial

commercials all suck....Good for microsoft, make something batshit crazy. Make a commercial that actually brings some kind of emotion to someone. Every other commercial is so boring and not worth a second thought. I like 'em

Now they've started up the "I'm a PC" ones which I actually think work really well. They finally got around to responding to Apple, which is probably a small victory for Apple. They have to know now that MS is kind of feeling the heat and recognizes they need to respond unless they want to keep losing market share. Although, they still have a ton to give.
