View Full Version : Chronicling all the movies you've ever watched.
So this is a little project I've undertaken with the help of IMDB.
Basically, after I finish a movie (or television series, which I've thrown in), I go to IMDB and rank it 1 through 10.
Then I bookmark each movie/show page into a special folder in Google Chrome for easy access (in case I watch it a second time, or change my opinion...easy access).
So far I'm up to 116, and going.
Some statistics so far:
Highest rated movie: Godfather (10 of 10) (Godfather II, and Citizen Kane are the only other three 10 of 10s on my list)
Lowest rated movie: Saved By The Bell: Hawaiian Style (1 of 10)
Highest rated TV series: Arrested Development (10 of 10)
Lowest rated TV series: Boy Meets World (4 of 10) (very incomplete category so far...I know there's shows I hate much much more than this)
Most Popular Genre: Comedy (50 titles)
Least Popular Genre: Horror (1 title)
Most Recently Added (thus most recently watched) Movie On The List: Capote (7 of 10)

I would do this but I'd hate to expose my love for "Spies like us" to the general public.

Say it loud! It's not a particularly great movie, but I have a soft spot for it as well.
Every minute you don't tell us why you are here, I cut off a finger.
Mine or yours?
Yours.
Damn!
Not to mention, the end credits song has to be thr absolute low watermark in the career of Paul McCartney, so how could you not love that?

is that the one where Slater kept lying to that rich girls dad about his father's military rank? Or was that like episodes they did in hawaii. I remember they were like working for Jesse's dad or something.
Marc with a C could help me here

Hawaiian Style was the movie where they were trying to help Kelly's Grandfather and the locals from some evil takeover, and Screech makes friends with these fat Hawaiian dudes, and Zack dates some broad with a kid.
The ones with Jesse's dad was when they did like a special summer thing where her dad got re-married and they all stayed at her father's country club. That might have been the same season they worked at the beach for that fat dude who's daughter is the King of Queens lady.
Now I'm going to go drown myself in the bathtub for knowing this much about Saved By The Bell (but not before I add the Wedding movie to my list...sadly, I've seen that one, too).

Exactly. Awful.
Dear Sir Paul. I've seen you've done a few themes for movies (Live and Let Die, Spies Like Us, Vanilla Sky). When you're doing a theme for a movie, you don't have to force the title of the movie into the lyrics of the song.

If you join Netflix, you can pretty much do the same thing, but its a lot easier. Only 1 to 5 stars though.

I used to subscribe about a year ago, but I backed out.
Plus it's hard enough for me to rate things on a 10 star system.
For instance, when I watched Capote today, I really saw it a 7.5, which meant I had to make a decision to round up or down.

Before I answer, I just wanna take a moment to enjoy how much my grandma would not understand a single word of your entire post.
Okay.... moving on.
I've never seen Citizen Kane and I'm upset about it. Possibly the greatest film of all time and, for some reason, "I never get around to seeing it.".
Is the IMDB turning into a messageboard now?? I'd click over, but it takes forever to peep the internet on my voyager.
(whoa. that was ANOTHER sentence that my grandma would trip her balls over.)

It's still better than that piece of shit "Freedom" song he played at the 9/11 concert.
