What's that first song on your iPod (should you still use one - if not, what was...) that ALWAYS comes on when you skip through the menus too quickly after booting up? I may never be able to listen to ...

10,000 Maniacs - Don't Talk

...ever again. (Look - it reminds me of an old girlfriend...) I hear those drums and that first bass riff and I want to chuck the thing out the window.

Fez Loves Dawn.

I have a Nexxus, so it's a little different. Whenever I'm done listening to a recorded R&F show and delete it, that's the song that comes on. Not sure why.

how do you get numbers to sort at the top of your library ...?

it's been driving me nuts ... i've spent years cataloging and organizing things the PC way --characters > 0-9 > A-Z

itunes organizes everyting A-Z > 0-9 > characters

Haha, that's the first song on mine too (from the ABBA Live album), though it used to be Curves That Kick by 16, before itunes put #'s after the letters.

I keep it alpha by artist most of the time, so it's usually "Sidewalk Chalk" by the A-Sides.

I finally had to delete Amon Amarth's cover of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath since I was tired of having my eardrums blown out. Now it's The Band's The Weight.

I really only use mine as a mini hard drive to shuttle files from home to the office but I do have a small assortment of songs on it. When I went to the music menu to see what would come up I got Bloc Party-Silent Alarm. A band I've never really listened to but somehow have this one song that's not bad.
