My favorite infomercial is where they are trying to sell you lilke sixty folding blade knives. They usually have a tree log out that all of the knives are stuck in. After showing you the small blades they move onto the huge buck knives, some of which are right out of a fantasy movie. Then they move onto the swords. Samurai-style swords, again fantasy-style swords, and more mundane swords. And the whole set-up is pretty cheap.
I just love watching those infomercials, and listening to those guys try to to sell.

there is a huge flea market down here in florida and a stand called "as seen on TV" the guy sells shit from infomercials for about the same price but no shipping and handling fees so it is a good deal. we bought a few things a couple years ago and i think all of em broke.

I don't know if there's ever been an actual infomercial on it, but I bought the Scrubbing Bubbles automatic shower cleaner. It worked very well, but after less than two years, it just stopped operating. I haven't decided if I'm going to replace it.

I've tried a lot of Billy Mays advertised products, because my mother always falls for his ads and gives me the "extras" that they always include. I like a lot of them, but the shit that supposed to clean your toilet by filling it up with foam, is totally useless. Mighty Putty is great stuff, but it's actually just epoxy putty that can be purchased in any hardware store for much less.

I'd be tempted to try that car scratch stuff that I've seen on TV lately (can't remember who markets it), but that still wouldn't hide the nasty dent on the left front quarter panel of my car.

I did end up with some pretty dominant shit though. i have 7 91 donruss Mark Grace Diamond Kings now. Plus a few Bonillas, Kirby Puckets. I think I got some shaq card and Isiah Riders rookie card. Comedy all around.


Oh yea and some Tim Tuffels

One of those direct marketing companies - they wanted to come to my house a cook, to demonstrate their products - I passed on that.
