Both championship games are always better than the Super Bowl. But since the Cardinals are involved, it'll either be a complete blowout or compelling to the end.

not always

i remember last years being pretty close

actually in this decade all the patriot super bowls have been close

2000 giants 41 vikings 0 super bowl ravens 34 giants 7 so right there it disproves your always

only real blowout was the bucs over raiders

steelers seahawks was somewhat close 21-10
and colts bears also somewhat close 29-17

His first career TD in the playoffs? even a blind squrriel...

(for the record I listeded to the post game interview on the radio and said it was 'lucky.')

Did you see him jump the pile on the second TD when the run went to were he was supposed to be lined up? What a freaking douche, he jumped the pile 3 times and didn't have an effect on any of those plays. But it allows them to fawn over him on the TV...

Anquan Boldin acts like not quite a professional. (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs2008/news/story?id=3843834)

Boldin wasn't too happy with being minimized in the fourth quarter of Arizona's 32-25 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles that clinched the franchise's first Super Bowl berth. Late in the game, cameras showed Boldin arguing with offensive coordinator Todd Haley.
"I was not given any explanation why I was taken out," Boldin said Monday, during an interview on ESPN's NFL Live, when asked what led to the sideline confrontation. "Like any competitor I wanted to know why."

...

Once the game ended, the two-time Pro Bowl selection left the field quickly without celebrating. According to one postgame account, which he disputed, Boldin was seen leaving the locker room via a back door.
"I didn't leave through a back door. I tried to get in and out as quickly as possible to beat the media," he said. "I didn't want the story line to be me and Todd getting into it."

I don't think even TO would do something like this.

Yeah, but TO knows to act like a good team player when things are going good. When the team's winning, he'll sing the praises of his QB and coaches to everyone. It's when things start to go sideways that he starts bitching.

So, yeah, I think Boldin went somewhere even TO wouldn't.

I hate Merrill Hodge.

Last (last) year, he voted the Steelers #1, even though at the time, they were like 10-2 and the Patriots were 12-0. Now's he's just yelling about how much better the Steelers are than the Cardinals.

Actually, I pretty much hate every one on ESPN, yet I keep watching.

Stuart Scott has a new segment starting; The Mount Rushmore of Sports, where they'll pick one person to win (which isn't a Mt Rushmore).

I hope one day Stuart Scott, Chris Berman, Merrill Hodge and Rick Reilly (could his on air "segments" be any worse?) are travelling in a bus together and get into a catastrophic accident.

I really hope today's Super Bowl turns out like another one it reminds me of - Super Bowl XIV, played back in January of 1980. Back then the Steelers came out of the AFC to face a surprise NFC team - the 9-7 Los Angeles Rams.

The Steelers were HUGE favorites and everyone figured the Rams were a fluke and the game wouldn't be competitive. Not only did the Rams lead at halftime, but they were actually up 19-17 in the 4th quarter. The Steelers rallied to win the game 31-19, but it was an awesome game and a lot closer than the final score indicated.
