i took this opportunity to listen to the tommy chong unmasked that i recorded at 8. i have to say it may be my favorite so far. not really funny per say, but totally enjoyable. the guy is so full of life. the fact that he sees his imprisonment as something that was meant to be, he sees the break up of cheech and chong as something that was meant to be and the fact that the day he said good bye to his wife on the prison steps as his favorite moment made me rethink things of late. i highly recommend you listen at 2pm sunday if you missed tonight. :) i wish i had buds.

It's one thing to preempt syndicated programming for this, quite another to preempt your own original programming. I wonder if they'll do this after the show goes into the "Best of Sirius" package, and thus people are paying extra to hear it.

Though with the MLB regular season drawing to a close, not having to air all those play-by-play channels should keep this from happening at that point.

Almost no one listens to 202 on the weekends, that's why they preempt the channel. They don't preempt popular channels.

And there's only 1 channel dedicated to Metallica. It was the same channel that broadcast Coldplay.

it doesnt work that way. It takes to much to adjust that, its not like flipping a switch. Flippin it off and putting up a public service type announcement is all they can really do without and hour of work to change everything
